Underage Training
Underage training for 6 to 12 year olds on Fridays at 6.30
Children under 6 are welcome to attend for informal coaching but must be under parent/adult supervision
New coaches are always welcome

Training
Under 16 and Minor training on Monday and Wednesday at 7.30
Under 14 Training on Friday at 7pm
Membership
All players should have their membership paid; membership can be paid to team coaches or any committee member
Go Games
The second evening of Go Games blitz was another great success with Delvin, Bunbrosna The Downs fielding a number of teams, thanks to all the coaches who looked after the teams and a special thanks to our underage players who again refereed the games.

Registration
Registration is now due, any player who has not paid can pay team coaches. Registration with the Ladies Football Club is separate from the Gaa Club.


Results
The Downs 5:8 Tyrrellspass 4:3
On Thursday last we played Tyrrellspass at home The Downs scored first and looked to be in control of the game but a lack on concentration allowed Tyrrellspass in for two goals and to go in leading at halftime. The Downs made amends with an impressive second half performance to emerge deserved winners.

Congratulations to our players who were on The Downs school teams who won their Cumann na mBunscol Ladies Football final on Wednesday last.

The Downs Ladies Football club are organising a Disco Saturday May 31st 8.30- 11pm for 12 to 16 years olds
