Congratulations to Jenny McNamee on winning her second Leinster solo singing title in three years on Sunday last and qualify for the All-Ireland.

Minor League The Downs 2:6 Mullingar Shamrocks 0:15
Playing against a strong wind The Downs did well for twenty minutes but four unanswered points by Shamrocks left the halftime score 0:2 to 0:10. The Downs scored first on the restart with a goal; however Shamrocks replied with three unanswered points. The Downs dominated for the reminder of the half but the gap was too much too close.

Under 21 The Downs 2:13 Coralstown/Kinnegad 1:7
(13 aside) semi-final
The Downs bounced back from their Under 21 premier final defeat to qualify for the 13 aside championship final with an impressive performance in Kinnegad on Sunday evening. The Downs were the first to score with a goal Kinnegad replied with a point but for the rest of the half the Downs dominated the scoring with a halftime score of 2:7 to 0:3. On the restart The Downs scored a point, Kinnegad responded with 1:3, any hopes of a Kinnegad comeback were squashed as The Downs took control in the last quarter scoring 0:6.
