Lotto Results

Lotto Results for weekending 22nd of March . Numbers drawn were 7, 17, 19 and 27. there was no winner of the €1,400 jackpot. Winners of the two €100 prizes were Cathal Tone The Downs, and James Doyne. Lotto numbers are displayed on the web site from Tuesday of each week.

U-16 Championship

The Downs 3-6 Kinnegad 3-8

On Sunday last we played Kinnegad at home in what proved to be a very competitive game. Despite being seven points ahead during the second half, Kinnegad scored two goals to win by two points. Well done to the team who tried their best and could not be faulted for effort but on the day the game didn’t run our way.

Training

Minor and U/16 training continues on Friday nights at 8 o’clock.

U/14 training is on Wednesday evening at 7o’clock.

Underage Training

Training for 6-12 year olds is on Friday evenings at 6.30pm.

All roads led to The Downs last Friday with the commencement of our underage training (6 to 12 year old) with the largest ever number attending. A special thanks to all the coaches who helped out and to the parents who brought their children.

Committee

Committee meeting on Wednesday the 7th of April at 9.15pm.

Training continues for Junior team on Monday evening 7.30

U/16 team on Friday evenings at 6-7

U/12 training continues on Friday evening at 6.30
