Lotto Results for Monday November 13th were 1, 11, 12, 22. there was no winner of the €9,000 jackpot. €100 winners Barry Conroy and Anne Rowan.


AGM

The AGM is on Friday 1st of December at 8pm all members and people interested in The Downs Gaa club are invited to attend.

Under 16

The Downs 1-08 St Michaels 3-04

On Saturday last in The Downs we had to give way to a stronger St Michaels whose ability to score goals was the difference between the sides, despite The Downs putting up a very respectable score which would win many a game.

Team: Niall O’Doherty, Ben Hogan, Shane Egerton, John Egan, Alan Price, Conor Raleigh, Pauric Murray, Shane Brogan, Alan Finch, Marc Conroy, Sean McCormack, Niall Folan, Trevor McCormack, Alan McGrath, Kevin Smullen.

Subs: Harry Caulfield, Gary Conroy, Kevin Bell.


Under 21 Championship

The Downs 4-13 Caulry 1-07

Our under 21s recorded a deserved win on Sunday morning in terrible conditions for football.

Team: Brendan Cleary, Mark Dalton, Carl Ferguson, Simon O’Donnell, Niall Nolan, Alan Dowdall, Greg Crowley, Jack Hogan, Paul Kellaghan, Stephen Devine, Gary Nolan, Mark Price, Luke Folan.

Subs used: Mark Keegan, Tommy Conneeley, Shane Egerton, Declan Lynam.


Scor

On Saturday we hosted the semi-final of junior scor. We were competing in the Recitation (Ruth Lynam and Shane Dalton), Instrumental Music (Conor Raleigh, Dillon Kennedy, Louise Carey, Christina Duignan), Set Dancing( Mary Lynam, Jean Moran, Emily Crowley, Michelle Flynn, Shane Murray, Kevin McGuire, Kyle Casey, Niall Folan), Novelty Act ( Clare Crowley, Brian Dalton, Caroline Flynn Fiona Flynn, Caoimhe Carthy, Niamh Rowan). Well done to all competitors who competited to a very high standard especially to the Set Dancers, Instrumental Music, Recitation (Ruth Lynam) and novelty act who qualified for the county final, which is on Sunday 26th in Ballymore at 3pm.
