On Saturday last in Castletown we played our last game in the championship and showed the type of football we are capable of playing with a comprehensive victory over Rochfordbridge.

Under 14 Championship Semi-Final

The Downs 3-05 Killucan 2-08

On Sunday morning last at home we secured a draw in the final minutes with the last score. This was a great performance, as we had to come from behind twice in the second half and ensured we maintain our unbeaten record.

New players are welcome at all ages and adult.

Ladies Junior Championship Final

The Downs 1-10 Tyrellspass 1-09

On Friday evening in St Lomans our adult team playing in their first final produced a performance of skill determination and bravery to secure a win by the narrowest of margins. Despite going in at half time five points down, The Downs seized the initiative from the restart and not only reduced the deficit but went two points up on full time. In added time Tyrellspass reduced the difference to one point but The Downs hung on to secure a deserved win.
