500 Members Draw
The first of our four 500 Members Development Draws was held on Saturday last.
First prize €2000 Ursula & Michael Murray. €1000 Matty & Kathleen Nooney. €500 Boris & Alma Murray. €500 Suzanne Holden. €250 Stephen Cleary, Declan Gorman, Mickey Dan Murtagh and Paddy Judge.
Well done to all our ticket sellers for selling all 500 tickets quite an achievement. A special thanks to the ticket buyers for supporting our development and making the Draw such a success.

Underage Training
Underage training Friday evenings on 3rd of April from 6.30 to 7.30.

We travelled to Ballycomoyle on Saturday last and secured both points with an impressive performance.

Minor League The Downs 2:8 Rosemount 0:14
We played Rosemount at home on Sunday evening in a closely contested first half the teams were level at halftime 0:5 to 0:5. Rosemount started the second the stronger and went into a 3 point lead but a goal from The Downs levelled the scores. Rosemount went ahead again but another goal from The Downs ensured the points were shared. Well done to both teams for an excellent game of football with some fine scores. We are holding our annual fund raising Aintree Grand National Sweepstake Draw on Friday 3rd in the GAA Centre. Tickets are available from any committee member.
The Downs Ladies Football
Training
Training continues this week for the junior and minor ladies on Wednesday 1st April at 8 o clock.New members are always very welcome,come along and bring a friend.
The U14 girls training is also on Monday at 6 o clock
