Under 10 Blitz
Our under 10 team played in the Kinnegad Blitz on Saturday 1st July. We were drawn against Mullingar Shamrocks in the first round game, which was very keenly contested by both teams in the end we had done enough to set up a final match with the hosts Kinnegad.
In the final the Downs put in a fine first half performance against the wind and finished the stronger in the second half to win the blitz. Our thanks to Kinnegad underage committee.
