The second Quarter Draw in the 500 Draw took place on Saturday 27th in The Downs Gaa Centre. Winners €2000 Syndicate Two Bs & Two Cs. €1000 Vera Rattigan. €500 Joe Egerton, Paul Cocoaman, €250 Kilmurray Precast, Finian & Maureen Dardis, Brendan Coffey, Brian & Kathleen Dolan.

125 Feile intercounty Club Blitz
The Downs club will be hosting an U14 125 Feile intercounty Club Blitz
on Saturday 4th July from 12 noon to 3pm.
The Clubs involved will be The Downs, Dunshaughlin of Meath and St Sylvesters of Dublin.
This is promoted by the GAA leinster Council.
All parents of players from the club are invited along to the blitz and refreshments will
be provided on the day.

Results
U12 Result, The Downs Black team played Rosemount away on Tuesday winning 3:16 to 2:1.
Note that there will be no U12 training on Saturday morning 4th July due to U14 blitz.
U14 Result, The Downs team played St Malachys Ballinagore at home on Friday winning 4:12 to 3:6.
Minor League The Downs 1:10 Rochfordbridge 1:10
The Downs team played Rochfortbridge away on Friday evening Rochfordbridge started the liverier going into a 0:5 to 0:0 lead on fifteen minutes, for the remainder of the half The Downs scored 1:3 to Rochfordbridge’s point to leave the scores level at halftime.
The Downs went ahead twice in the second half but Rochfordbridge levelled the scores to share the points. Training
Training for the junior and minor ladies continues on Tuesday and Friday at 7.30. New members are always very welcome, come along and bring a friend.
The U14 girls training is on Monday at 6.30 o clock
