Results
U14 125 Feile Blitz was held in the Downs on Saturday 4th July.
The teams taking part were the Downs (Hosts), St Sylvesters Dublin and Dunshaughlin Meath.
The Downs played Sylvesters first, losing to a very good Dublin team.
Sylvesters then played Dunshaughlin and this game ended a draw.
Finally the Downs played Dunshaughlin with the Downs leading this game before bad weather brought
this game to an abrupt end.
All three games were refereed by Sean Carroll.
Refreshments were provided to all afterwards in the clubhouse by Catriona Brennan and helpers.
Many thanks to all volunteers who helped out on the day!

U12 Match Result
The Downs Black team played Athlone in a well contested game Monday evening in the Downs coming out winners
4:8 to 2:10 eventually. Many thanks for Eoin Coates for refereeing the game.

The Downs Ladies Football
Training
Training for the junior and minor ladies continues on Tuesday and Friday at 7.30. New members are always very welcome, come along and bring a friend.
The U14 girls training is on Monday at 6.30 o clock
Under 16, Under 18 training and Junior on Friday @ 7.30

Under 12 League The Downs V St Lomans
On Wednesday last we played St Lomans and lost out in a competitive game to a very strong St Lomans side.
Under 16 Challenge The Downs V Rhode
On Monday last we played Rhode in a very enjoyable challenge in The Downs thanks to Rhode for travelling over and we look forward to travelling to Rhode for the return.
County Under 16 Team
Congratulations to the County under 16 team on winning the Leinster B Championship on Saturday.
