Under 10
Our under 10 blitz for the Pat Walsh Memorial Cup takes place in The Downs this Saturday.
We are hosting teams from Mullahoran of Cavan, St. Vincent's from Offaly and Ballivor from Meath.
First match starts at 1030am and the tournament should be completed by 130pm.
Parents / guardians of our under 10's can help by providing homebaking or sandwiches to compliment the hot food we will be providing afterwards.
We also require volunteers to assist with the serving of the food. Any queries contact Marc Cunningham 087 8362297.
We encourage all members to attend on the day for what should be an entertaining feast of under 10 football and to support
all the young footballers.
The Downs underage committee would like to thank Sean Delamere Timber Contractors who kindly sponsored the under 10 team for 2009,

Kinnegad strength and ability to score points was the difference in the second half and they deserve their win.
