Senior B Championship The Downs 4:17 Killucan 3:9
On Saturday we took on our neighbours in the first round of the Senior B Championship, the Downs went in to an early 1:4 to 0:1 lead, by the 15th minute the lead was reduced to 1:5 to 1:3 but The Downs pushed on again to lead at halftime 2:9 to 1:5. The Downs continued to dominate the second half and ran out deserved winners.

The Downs Ladies Football

Fundraising Draw
The Ladies Football are a having a fundraising draw which is our main fundraiser for the year, cards are currently being distributed. We ask all players, parents and supporters to support the draw which is on 17th October. Presentation of medals to under 14 and 16 teams will also be on this night all parents and supporters are also invited.

Our under 12 team played a very enjoyable challenge on Saturday well done to all girls who played and to Shandonagh for travelling out.
