The Downs secure two Leinster titles.
Our Set Dance ( Aoife Rowan, Mary Lynam, Fiona Flynn, Leanne Duncan, Kevin McGuire, Mark Swaine, Dylan Kennedy, Shane Murray).. Shane Dalton in Recitation were competing in the Leinster Final in Ballymore on Sunday and gave outstanding performances to bring back two titles to The Downs a brilliant achievement by all concerned, a special thanks to Alice and Brenda Deihy who can add another Leinster title to their list. Both titles were greeted with great celebration by the large support from The Downs. Thanks Joe Connaire, Aiden Connaire and Pauric Keena for playing the music which came in for much praise throughout the hall. (Shane would like to thank John Kenny for the use of the bike which certainly added to the performance)
Congratulations to Moate All Whites who won the Ballad Group title.
