Bingo continues every Friday at 8.30, come along and bring a friend for an enjoyable night’s entertainment.

 Volunteers are still needed for Bingo on a rota of one night per month, if interested contact any committee member.

Underage Coaching

Coaches and assistants needed for all age groups. No experience required and training will be provided. Contact our Facebook page or any committee member if interested.

Registration Day

The new season is nearly upon us as we look forward to welcoming back all our current and new underage players for another fun filled year. We will be hosting a registration day on Saturday 23^rd February from 2pm-5pm in the clubhouse. The rates for 2019 are as follows:

Underage player (U6 to U18 Boys & U6 Girls) €40

Family Membership (two adults and unlimited underage players) €70

Adult non-player (including walkway) €50

Social Member (bar only) €30

Senior Citizen €20

Female footballers from U7 upwards need to join The Downs Ladies Football Club, also available on the 23rd. Seperate rates apply.

125 Club Book 

There are a limited number of 125 club books available for purchase for €20. The book has so far proven to be very popular with vast amount of information and iconic photos on the formation and growth of our club. The Book can be purchased via our club website, Flynn’s, A&J Newsagent, Rochforts, Fagan’s, Just Books and Milly Walsh’s Maxol Garage. Don’t delay in getting your copy as when they’re gone they’re gone!!

Walkway

The walkway lights will now be on from dusk to 22:30 daily for all existing and new members, for a safe place to walk over the winter months.

Ireland Lights Up

Operation transformation walks continue this Thursday on the walking track from 7pm-9pm, there was a great turn out last week despite the weather conditions.

Fitness Classes

Classes continue every Monday and Thursday at 8pm in the clubhouse all enquiries to Michael Murtagh (0862799659).
